教育游戏：目前尚属新生事物，业界没有明确的定义。这里将“教育游戏”定义为能够培养游戏使用者的知识、技能、智力、情感、态度、价值观，并具有一定教育意义的计算机游戏类软件。
“教育游戏”的定义比较宽泛，而且在“教育游戏”和“非教育游戏”之间并没有特别鲜明的界线。某些游戏虽然不是专门为教育目的而设计，但是有较强的教育意义，也可以纳入教育游戏的范畴。
