AboutVenatio Creo is a portable intuitive application designed to allow non-programmers the ability to create interactive computer games. It utilizes a WYSIWYG interface that lets the user see the effects of their actions immediately. After the game is created, the user may redistribute the application as a stand-alone professional quality program.
Venatio Creo depends on several libraries to run, including DeviL, OpenAL and FreeGLUT. It has been in developement for well over two years by Evan Wolbach with the goal of becoming operating system independent. Currently, Venatio Creo is only compiled to run on Windows machines. Recent additions to the project include Lindsey Stone, who currently provides art assets, design, and all website materials. Sound has been provided by Rebecca Lamhut, Caroline Spivak, and Zachary Reeder.
Venatio Creo's website is currently webmastered by Lindsey Stone, and coded using Notepad++. The gallery page uses javascript and css code from Lightbox 2. Any bugs, questions, or concerns about the website should be directed at listone@venatiocreo.com.
